Pavel Butakov is a research fellow at the Institute of Philosophy and Law, Novosibirsk, and a teacher at the Lutheran Theological Seminary, Novosibirsk. His area of expertise is Ancient and Patristic philosophy. His current area of interest is philosophy of religion, especially the concept of God: classical theism and its possible alternatives within the Biblical tradition.
