Stephanie Nordby

Stephanie Nicole Nordby is a graduate student of philosophy at the University of Oklahoma. She is dissertating in philosophy of religion under her advisor, Linda Zagzebski. Nordby’s research focuses on the nature of revelation, including problems in philosophy of language as well as metaphysical issues concerning the incarnation. She is also interested in the implications of the philosophy of the Hebrew Scriptures for Christian analytic theology and theistic virtue ethics. Thanks to generous support from the John Templeton Foundation Classical Theism Project, she is currently working on a paper on divine predication. She is married to fellow philosophy graduate student Kevin T. Nordby. They have two dogs who love their owners very much and are definitely not automatons.
