Alex Ozar

Alex S. Ozar is pursuing a dual PhD in Philosophy and Religious Studies at Yale University and serves on the faculty of Bi-Cultural Day School in Stamford, CT. He holds a BA in philosophy, MA in Jewish philosophy, and semikha from Yeshiva University. He has held positions with First Things magazine and the Tikvah Fund, and his writing has appeared in Tradition, Torah U-Madda Journal (forthcoming), Harvard Theological Review, Journal of Religious Ethics, First Things magazine, Torahmusings.com, and TheLehrhaus.com. Presently his primary research focus concerns the philosophical and specifically phenomenological mechanics of prophetic moral witness in democratic cultures.
